  12. if they match on the basis of 
  13. visual angle (which is very 
  14. difficult to do), they fail to take 
  15. account of the most central 
  16. facet, namely, constancy. Such 
  17. an explanation sheds a 
  18. different light on the evidence 
  19. of individual differences in 
  20. constancy experiments and the 
  21. development of constancy.
